John Chancellor has over thirty years of experience working in and with small businesses. He has worked in both public accounting and private industry, but his preference is for assisting independent business owners. He founded Preferred Accounting Services as a resource for small businesses in New Orleans and the surrounding areas.

John possesses a business degree from Tulane University. He is also a strong believer in continuing education, as his list of recommended reading demonstrates.

Cheryl Chancellor holds accounting and business degrees from the University of New Orleans and the University of Alabama. She has worked for international organizations in both public accounting and private industry. Before joining Preferred Accounting, she spent three years serving primarily small businesses as an independent consultant.
